Can Someone help me with the PWM frequency of this 4 wire Fan?
As the title states, I have a 4 wire fan (Nox Knik 80 mm) and I need to control it with a microcontroller.
The only datasheet I've found about 4 wire fans is this, which appears in a lot of websites as well.
It says that the PWM frequency should be around 25 kHz, but I wonder if using it in a lower freq (such as 1 kHz) would be a problem, because to get a 25 kHz PWM frequency with my microcontroller I have to loose quite a lot of resolution.
Does anybody have an answer or some experience working with this kind of fans?

Engineering Drawings for rope
Not sure where to post this, but has anyone ever had to do a project involving rope? And the technical drawings for the components? A quick google search doesn't really answer my question, any thoughts or examples?

Fellowships/Funding for Masters-Level Programs
I am currently finishing up a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I've been considering getting a M.S. degree after graduating, and I've found a couple of programs that would provide the additional educational depth that I am seeking. However, almost all the programs I've found are not supported by funding.
Do you know of any external fellowships or funding that is available to Masters-level students? If it helps, I have no problem choosing a thesis-based option

Is official notice sent out if a patent is awarded?
Recently a patent we submitted was approved. A few others and myself are the inventors, but this was done on a contract, so the assignee is the company we were in contract with.
Will I receive any official notification in regards to the patent being approved? Or is that all received by the assignee?
