What kind of paper do you write on?
Random question I know, but I'm buying a new notebook for an engineering project and want to get people's opinions on what paper type they prefer and why, i.e. lined, squared or plain paper. Lined is the standard for writing. Squared is better for doing engineering drawings and concept sketches, better for drawing graphs and tables and usually have narrower lines so you can fit more words on pages. Plain could be cool, scientists like Newton and Da Vinci use plain although may probably be because the technology for lined or squared paper wasn't around yet. Let me know if you guys can think of any other reasons for choosing a particular type of paper, thanks.
