Civil Engineer Job Outlook; Looking for Singular Data Points
I just finished my first year of college at a large state school (USA). My class schedule was that of a first year mechanical engineering student, but every credit I took transfers to something in civil engineering. Next year, I need to confidently pick one or the other. Just browsing around r/engineeringstudents, you would get the vibe that civil engineering is pretty much dead and it's all about mechanical engineering. Does anyone have any input?
