Self balancing robot without onboard logic
Robot is just following drive commands transmit by WiFI from my host PC. The model made in Simulink, is processing the balancing system with 100Hz. The IPhone on the robot is transmitting its IMU data to the host PC with the same frequency. The Motors are attached to a small WiFi router on the robot.
These TCP/IP motor control makes it very easy to implement such a system or a prove of concept, because there is no need for any embedded system.
